Denmark, Copenhagen

After a break of three months from travelling, it was time to go again !
I worked to get some money and to be able to pay for another trip. as it was my gap year I tried to travel as much as I could since I was going back to university in September. It was in July, I went with one of my oldest friend (19 years of friendship yay !) to see our danish childhood friend. Her parents are Danish and they used to live in our city but they moved back in Denmark ten years ago. We already went to see her a couple years ago so I have already done the main activities (Tivoli which is one of the oldest attrition park in Europe, Rundetaarn Tower, the Little Mermaid statue, Christiania which is a small self-proclamed city within Copenhagen).
I can easily say that Copenhagen is my favourite city: the weather as been amazingly great the both time we went, inhabitants are nice, you can do everything by bike (and I loooove to go around by bike, Copenhagen roads are very safe for bikes), buildings are pretty and there are a lot of things to do !
The first day we didn't do much as we woke up at 3:00 am to catch our flight and were pretty exhausted, we just bought food and went to a park to nap, sunbathe and catch up.
The second day we went for a brunch at Mad & Kaffe (really good) and after to the botanical garden where you can see tropical plants in the greenhouse and walk in the gardens around a pound. We then we got back on our bikes and headed to the port to see Nyhavn, full of coloured houses (and tourists).
The next day, we went out of Copenhagen with my friend and her mum to the Louisiana Museum (modern art museum with temporary exhibitions also) and spent the day there.
Our fourth day, we visited one of the coolest campuses I've seen and headed back to the center of Copenhagen and got to the Church of Our Saviour where you can go up and have a view of the whole city. We then ate at the port on Papirøen (street food market where you can find food from all around the world : paradise).
The last day consisted on a boat tour in the morning to see the city from a different angle, then a little bit of shopping and we went out in Tivoli to see Patrick Dorgan and Scarlet (you should check them out on youtube) !
The prices are a bit high but the city is so nice, so if you are planning to go, GO !
