Martinique, France part 2

Sorry I've been a little MIA, but I have a few articles coming up !

This trip was in February when I went back to Martinique for a week and this time I explored a little bit more.
The first day we partied on the beach all day with some friends, it was really nice but we got sunburn quite a lot even if we put sunscreen every two hours... So the next day we decided to avoid the sun a bit and we went to the Balata's gardens. It was a really nice place, you can walk around and explore and there is an amazing view of the ocean.
Then the third  day we woke really early to hike up to the top of the Mount Pelée which is an active volcano. The top is at 1397 m (4583 ft), it took us more than 4 hours to go to the top and back. I would highly recommend to go early to avoid the heat and bring water and good shoes !

The following day we did a little hike to the Didier waterfall, is was really easy but I would advise you to go in the morning, it is quieter since there is less people.
We also went to Anse Arlet, there was a lot of people but it is a really pretty place !

If you have the chance to go there you have plenty of things to do, you can do hikes, go to the beach, there are quite a few museums, you can do snorkelling,...
